In Ammon Wrigley’s Footsteps (4.5 miles)
Saturday 12th May 2018 (10am prompt - 4pm)
Discover the trail and remnants of buildings that were once home to Ammon Wrigley, local dialect poet and historian. Starts at Castleshaw Centre car park, Delph. A medium to hard walk with rough field walking.
Bring lunch, drinks & good footwear.

Chew Valley Tramway Heritage Walk (4.5 miles)
Saturday 9th June 2018 (10am prompt – 4pm)
Discover the route and history of Chew valley Tramway built to aid the construction of the Chew reservoir. Starts at The Clarence Hotel car park, Greenfield. Medium/hard walk with long inclines.
Bring lunch, drinks & good footwear.

Pots and Pans History Walk (4.5 miles)
Saturday 28th July 2018 (10am prompt – 4pm)
Discover Running Hill quarries, the site of an early water mill and stories of Chew Valley in this breath taking walk over Saddleworth’s Pots and Pans. Starts at Saddleworth Museum, Uppermill. A medium walk,
around 1 mile per hour.
