Volunteer Youth Mentoring - Rochdale Connections Trust

RCT and M6 Studio Theatre are working in collaboration to deliver "Rochdale Cares to Act". This is a four year programme providing a menu of services for young people aged 11 to 16 living in Rochdale, Heywood and Middleton. Through the delivery of bespoke mentoring interventions we offer support across a range of issues including;

  • Low self-esteem and confidence
  • Difficulties within education
  • Bullying 
  • Socialising & making friends
  • Family and relationship issues
  • Issues around drugs & alcohol
  • Crime, offending and anti-social behaviour 
  • Improving health & well-being
  • Anxiety

We recruit, train and support volunteer mentors from across the community who have the skills and commitment to work with vulnerable young people. All our Mentors are DBS checked and closely monitored to ensure the needs of the young person are being met.

We carefully match Mentors with young people in order to forge a strong relationship that allows them to work together towards achieving the goals that are set with the young person.
