Oldham needs you – VCFSE Support for Test and Contact Tracing

Oldham Council values your local knowledge and networks and your ability to talk to local people in ways that are familiar and right for them.

As a local trusted voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector group or organisation, you understand your local communities’ concerns and worries about coronavirus. You are able to discuss with your members, your local community, friends and neighbours about the disease and explain to them why it is important to follow the guidance, get tested and self-isolate if they get a positive test result.

In light of the increase in numbers of coronavirus in the borough and the new guidance in place. We need you to help us reach people and encourage them to have a test and follow the guidance to keep everyone safe from coronavirus.

At Action Together we’ve been working with the Sector and with Oldham Council to develop the ways in which you can support and have secured some grant investment to enable your group or organisation to get involved in ‘Community Conversations’ and / or ‘Local Testing Support’.

The time is now! We’ve got a window to make a difference. For more information and to get involved:
