Tameside Safeguarding Children Board have organised a one-day workshop, ‘Multi-Agency Practice Development Programme’, which will take place between 9.15am & 4.30pm on Thursday 19 April 2018 at Highfield Pavilion, Stamford Park, Astley Road, Stalybridge, Tameside SK15 1NJ.
Inspections, serious case reviews and other reviews and enquiries all point to the importance in safeguarding children of the quality of practice of the children’s workforce whether working on a single or multi-agency basis. The workshop will be delivered by an ‘associate trainer’ from ‘Research in Practice’ and is aimed at members of the multi-agency workforce who work predominantly with children, young people and/or their parents/carers and who could potentially contribute to assessing, planning, intervening and reviewing the needs of a child and parenting capacity where there are safeguarding concerns at all levels of need, including early help.
Details of the workshop are included in the attached outline programme. Bookings are available via individual learner accounts on Tameside Safeguarding Children Board website, please visit, https://www.tamesidesafeguardingchildren.org.uk/professionals/trainingco... . Applicants will need to create an individual learner account if they don’t currently have one.
