On Thursday 6 February, over 150 representatives from the 53 neighbourhoods recognised as age-friendly gathered at the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester with the Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham, to celebrate all of the success they have had.

Cllr Jude Wells, Deputy Portfolio Lead for Age-Friendly Greater Manchester, led proceedings as winners took the opportunity to share the work they are doing, learn from each other and to start to look at how the age-friendly neighbourhoods can network in the future, allowing them to collaborate and communicate with each other even better.
