GM Moving Oldham Local Pilot

Aims/priorities: The Oldham Local Pilot Investment Grant's support local projects which will contribute to increasing physical activity. We are open to any ideas for all groups across Oldham, but priority will be given to activities which involve:

- people in Failsworth and Glodwick (as selected 'Local Pilot' areas)

- Children & Young People aged 5-18 in out of school settings

- People out of work/at risk of becoming workless

- People aged 40-60 with, or at risk of, long term conditions like cancer, cardiovascular disease and respiratory disorders

Who can apply?: any group can apply if you have an activity which might contribute to the above aims. This includes unconstituted groups if we can identify other ways to be sure the funding you recieve will be spent on the aims above.

Grant amount: Micro grants are available for amounts up to £1000 on a rolling programme.

Larger grants up to £5,000 are available for decision through community-wide 'Participatory Budgeting' event, as well as up to £25,000 for ideas that have been developed alongside the community as part of the wider Local Pilot work.
