Get ready for National HIV Awareness Week 16 - 22 November 2019!

BHA For Equality are part of the PaSH (Passionate About Sexual Health) and HIVE (HIV England) initiative alongside George House Trust and LGBT Foundation. The mission of HIVE is to end all new cases of HIV within a generation, and we aim to do this by delivering a comprehensive sexual health programme for the Greater Manchester area, which includes HIV testing, access to low cost condoms and support for adults and children living with HIV. As part of our service delivery we carry out HIV prevention and sexual health promotion in the Greater Manchester with the aim of improving the sexual health and wellbeing of BME communities.

We provide onsite HIV rapid Point of Care (results are given in 2 minutes), STI and Dry Blood Spot HIV Testing where necessary. We also offer 1-2-1 interventions, wellbeing assessments, group workshops and information stalls regarding HIV and sexual heath to the community. These are a great opportunity to raise awareness, provide information, advice and relevant referrals to those in need. This service is for over 18s.

Action Together will be offering testing on 18 November from 2pm - 4pm, please contact pash@thebha.org.uk or 0161 874 2150 to make an appointment.
