Starling is starting its free music-making activities for neurodivergent young people aged 13-25 from Tuesday 20 April from 4.30pm - 6.30pm at the Salt Cellar, Oldham.

Do you love making or listening to music? Fancy trying a new instrument or creating your own songs or beats? Or just simply want to make friends and have fun?

Neurobeats is a free music project, offering weekly workshops in a range of musical activities.

No experience needed - Starling will work with you in small groups to make sure you feel confident and help you to build your skills in a relaxed and supportive environment.

You can register a young person here or send a quick email to katie@starlingcio.org.uk to let her know you are interested.

Neurodivergent = brain wired differently e.g. autism, adhd, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyslexia, epilepsy, Tourette's, mental health, adverse childhood experiences, trauma (care experience, young carers, displaced young people). Both those with a diagnosis and self-identifying young people welcome!

Parent of young person aged 14 : "Although they have many phobias, pains and sensory issues as well as social anxieties, they wanted to come each week and felt extremely comfortable and relaxed to do so. Everyone was friendly and made them feel welcome."

If you have any questions or queries, you can contact email anytime: katie@starlingcio.org.uk
