Disablilty Confidence Workshop

Ingeus would like to invite you to a free workshop, aimed at charities and not for profit organisations in Greater Manchester. As part of our Social Value commitments, we would like to extend the resources of our corporate teams to you, as our local partners in delivering Working Well programmes.

Our corporate Learning and Development team will be delivering a session in Disability Confidence on 28 February, 10am to 4pm, at Ingeus Wigan.

Lunch is not provided, but refreshments will be available.

The aims of the session is below:

Disability confidence is important to all front line staff, managers and HR professionals. This course has been designed to raise awareness and confidence.

In this course you'll learn about the Government’s Disability Confident scheme, understand responsibilities and what this means on a day to day basis. We will also look at overcoming barriers and objections that some organisations may have when considering a disabled person or a person with a long term health condition for employment and we will be thinking about how can we persuade more employers to become Disability Confident themselves.

We will share tips!

The course is a chance for us to share strategies we have used and share best practice.

If you would like to secure a place on the workshop, please contact Jayne Garner- jgarner@ingeus.co.uk with your name, job title and organisations. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis, and 12 spaces will be allocated.
