The team in Rochdale would like to welcome Laura to our Action Together team. Laura is volunteering two days a week and we greatly appreciate her support so far!
Laura says:
"Hello,
I'm Laura Augustine, a volunteer at Action Together in Rochdale. I started volunteering in October. I wanted to volunteer for a while and I was lucky to meet Phil Greenwood (Volunteer Support Officer at Action Together) at my local job centre. He mentioned an administration opportunity at Action Together and immediately it just felt right.
I help to put volunteer opportunities onto the website, attend meetings and help out with any general administration jobs which need doing.
In three words... 'I love it!'
Everyone is so welcoming and friendly, I felt like I fitted in straight away. I like what Action Together are about and the team at Rochdale Action Together rock!'"
