Home-Start Oldham, Stockport & Tameside is working in partnership with the Maternal Mental Health Service to develop the support on offer for dads and co-parents. It is looking for a Dad Matters Co-ordinator to join its team to develop targeted interventions for dads and co-parents in the maternity and perinatal period. The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues from the Maternal Mental Health Services and with colleagues from parent/infant services, health visiting, and children’s services and with a wide range of dads and dads-to-be. They will develop our Dad Matters peer support opportunities, will facilitate and co-facilitate sessions with dads and co-parents and will develop links with other voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) and community groups.

It is keen to hear from dads who have particular experiences of Tokophobia (severe fear of childbirth,) miscarriage and perinatal loss and supporting a birthing parent with mental health issues.
