Creative Women forms part of our exciting A Whole New Way of Thinking About Neighbourhoods and is the first event to kick start Roving Listeners Transformative Community Building programme in Oldham - starting in Higgenshaw.
The Transformative Community Building programmes encourage people to see their unlimited potential and harness imaginative and creative ideas that lead to powerful change within individuals and neighbourhoods.
Their ethos is to harness the potential and spark imagination within neighbourhoods, by starting with the people who live there.
Roving Listeners are an integral part of neighbourhood transformation. Their purpose is to unleash the infinite potential of a place by connecting with people on a deep human level, sparking imagination through meaningful conversations that lead to inspired social action.
CREATIVE WOMEN IN NEIGHBOURHOODS
The Creative Women in Neighbourhoods workshop is based on more than two decades of experience of working across communities. They've seen first-hand the powerful impact women bring as catalysts for change when they connect with each other, share their innate wisdom and take inspired action towards transformation on any level.
They know there is a reservoir of untapped potential in our neighbourhoods and the Creative Women in Neighbourhoods workshop is the first step to unleashing the creative genius in every woman, in every neighbourhood across the world.
While the focus of the programme is in Higginshaw they are connecting with any woman who across Oldham who wants to build dreams, create the life they want and move beyond the obstacles that seem to be getting in the way.
