COVID-19 Equine Rescues Emergency Fund

Aims/priorities: The Petplan Charitable Trust (PPCT) has collaborated with World Horse Welfare and the National Equine Welfare Council (NEWC) to create the Covid-19 Equine Rescues Emergency Fund which is administered by PPCT. Grants are intended to support smaller equine welfare organisations across the UK whose finances and operations have been significantly impacted by the coronavirus/COVID-19 crisis. They are intended to help equine rescue organisations to cover activities which have been directly affected by the ongoing coronavirus/COVID-19 crisis.

Who can apply? Applications will be considered from smaller equine rescue organisations (with less than £500,000 turnover). Only registered charities and not-for-profit organisations can apply.

Grant amount: Up to £5,000

Deadline: The deadlines for the next two rounds are as follows:

  • 24 July 2020 (successful applicants will be notified by 31 July 2020).
  • 16 October 2020 (successful applicants will be notified by 23 October 2020).
