This friendly session is focused on Health and Well-being for South Asian Women. Join us for craft activities, well-being talks and information, local walks. Explore the local area whilst being fit and healthy.
Come along to our Chayer Adda to meet and chat with new people, learn about local services and engage in wellbeing activities, games and talks. Enjoy freshly made Chai or coffee with traditional breakfast offered.
Drop in session with knowledgeable Learning Mentors on hand to support you. You can use our community laptops (and WIFI) and get digital or employment support.
The Talk English Cafe is a welcoming and safe space to come along, grab a brew and practice your English speaking.
Come along for a chance to talk to others, practice English speaking and find out about local services and events.
Come and speak to female officers from Greater Manchester Police in an informal setting about any concerns you may have. Each session is based around a selected topic and suggestions are always welcome!
Cricket skills, games and training development, all sessions are for the local community.

Local women lack confidence and tend to be quite isolated. Our main aim is to empower young females within the community and help them make new friends. We will take them on trips, walks, residentials, sports and cooking etc. (Ashton-under-Lyne)
On a Friday night we run a sports session which is based at Curzon Ashton Football Club. We get a turnout of about 50-60 young people. (Ashton-under-Lyne)
Wednesday night is a more focused group session where we work with certain groups on a year long project. We take young people on expeditions to Scotland, residentials, camping and mainly carry out outdoor pursuits. Wednesday evenings usually take place at Holy Trinity Community Centre.
