Chadderton Together have opened a not-for-profit community cafe called Lydia's Tearoom. The cafe is situated in a completely renovated pavilion at Foxdenton Park. It is open five days each week Monday to Friday. However, as more vonteers come forward it will open each weekend as well.
We meet every Monday in Shaw at Tandle View Court for music and party afternoons, social days, crafts and activities. We also go out on occasional trips.
Our members range from 40 - 94 years old
Everyone is welcome.
Keep fit and have fun! Our exercise class helps with cardio fitness, muscle strength and flexibility.
Our Dementia Advisors will be available at the group for support & guidance. Chat with other carers and those living with dementia about their lived experience.
Feel Good Friday is a fantastic way to end the week!
Lots of music, dancing and chatting. Great for your mental and physical wellbeing.
Research has shown musical therapy reduces anxiety and helps people connect non-verbally, ideal for both carers and those living with Dementia.
