Chadderton Together have opened a not-for-profit community cafe called Lydia's Tearoom. The cafe is situated in a completely renovated pavilion at Foxdenton Park. It is open five days each week Monday to Friday. However, as more vonteers come forward it will open each weekend as well.
Working in partnership with our local Primary School we provide a 5 course weekly meal in the schools community room for over 55's. We meet every Monday in Shaw at Tandle View Court for music and party afternoons, social days, crafts and activities. We also go out on occasional trips.
Our members range from 40 - 94 years old
Everyone is welcome.
Our Dementia Advisors will be available at the group for support & guidance. Chat with other carers and those living with dementia about their lived experience.
Open to anyone who is affected by dementia and anyone who would like to talk to other people with a brew, activities include guitar, sing-a-long and quiz.
Feel Good Friday is a fantastic way to end the week!

Research has shown musical therapy reduces anxiety and helps people connect non-verbally, ideal for both carers and those living with Dementia.
