• Being There - Face to face and telephone befriending

Face to face and telephone befriending offered on a weekly/fortnightly basis for up to 6 months. Being There is a local charity providing emotional support and practical assistance to people with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses, along with those closest to them, such as family, friends and carers. Being There provides volunteers trained to listen and respond to concerns and worries to ensure people feel heard.
