Bank holiday pharmacy opening
There is a bank holiday on Monday 28 August 2023. Information about which pharmacies are open can be found at https://greater-manchester.communitypharmacy.org.uk/our-news/august-bank-holiday-pharmacy-opening-hours/

Changes to shingles vaccination eligibility
Almost a million more people (900,000) will become eligible for a shingles vaccination from September. Patients will be contacted by their GP practice when they become eligible.

Tameside Council have asked us to highlight this scam.
Elderly residents have been contacted and offered a 'free' pendant alarm service. The fraudulent company are asking for bank details over the phone.
Please DO NOT provide details, this is not the Tameside Council service. Please share this information with relatives or friends who may be vulnerable - particularly those who will not see this message online.
Flu vaccination Autumn 2023
