Greater Manchester 5 year health and care plan

In July 2022 Greater Manchester’s Integrated Care Partnership (GM ICP) was established. The partnership brings together all the different organisations which support people’s health and care.

The partnership are currently developing a five year plan to address the health and care needs of the population across Greater Manchester. This plan will include actions to improve health and care and reduce inequalities in people's health, and their experience of access to services.

GM ICP would like to understand what matters most, to make sure the five year plan includes the needs of Greater Manchester’s people and communities.

What is important to you? To your friends and family? If you live, or use health and care services, in Greater Manchester, please complete the survey. The results will be included in the decision-making.

You can have your say anonymously at www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/GMICP5yrplan

MS Society logo

MS Society

The MS Society and its local group in Tameside and Glossop are trying to identify what activities and services people affected by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) currently access and would like to access in future to help them manage their MS. This could include attending social events, access to exercise classes such as Yoga or Pilates, using therapies such as reflexology or massage or talking to a counsellor. People may also feel they would benefit from advice on topics like benefits, employment or housing.

They have produced a survey, to help collect this information, which can be completed at https://forms.office.com/r/9GkLH3UVTv

They will also be running some coffee and cake events across the area over the next few weeks to enable people affected by MS to come together to meet and talk about services they need.
