Pride in Practice LGBTQ+ Patient Experience Survey 2022
LGBT Foundation’s Pride in Practice LGBTQ+ Patient Experience Survey 2022 is now open until August 31st 2022. This survey is for lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people to share their experiences of accessing GPs, dentists, pharmacists and optometrists.

Tameside women & their families centre
The centre is a safe haven providing holistic support to women from different backgrounds.
They help with social isolation, housing, substance misuse, domestic abuse, finances, parenthood, and more.

SENDIASS - new provider
Since 12 July 2022, Tameside SENDIASS has been delivered by the Together Trust Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Information Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS).
The Together Trust already deliver SENDIASS services across Stockport. They have an experienced team who offer free, confidential and impartial support to parents and carers of children and young people aged between 0 and 25 who have or may have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
They also provide independent advice and support directly to young people aged between 16 and 25 who have or may have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Young people can access the service in their own right or with the support of their parents.

COVID-19
NHS England and NHS Improvement have written to the council (in May 2022) and outlined plans for an autumn booster programme to increase population immunity and protection against severe COVID-19 disease, hospitalisation and death over the winter.
