Healthwatch Officer - Support with Complaints
We are currently recruiting a Support with Complaints Officer (part-time maternity cover).
In this role you will specialise in the co-ordination and support for local people who wish to complain about care delivered by NHS providers. You will talk to clients who are unhappy with the NHS care they have received, help them to self-advocate, assist in their communication with NHS organisations and help them to navigate the formal NHS complaints process. You may also work as a member of the Healthwatch Tameside team to contribute to the effective delivery of wider Healthwatch activities.
In this role you will work alongside the Senior Officer for Complaints and Engagement.
This role requires the post holder to undertake a DBS check. Confirmation in post is dependent on return of a satisfactory completed DBS check.
