Latest report from Healthwatch Tameside

We have today published the latest snapshot report from our COVID-19 survey data. It is about access to appointments and the use of technology.

The report is based on data from completed surveys, submitted up to 3.8.20. A copy of the report can be found at the top of the publications page of our website www.healthwatchtameside.co.uk/healthwatch-tameside-publications

There are discussions taking place in Tameside and Glossop about how people might access care in the future. There are mixed feelings among the residents about how and where technology could be used. Everyone is clear that there must be equality in the options available. Care should be available to all, whether they have access to, and/or want to use computers and smartphones, or not.

What are your views?

The survey is still open, and you can complete it online at https://www.healthwatchtameside.co.uk/covid-19-survey or you can give us a call on 0161 667 2526. We can either post out a paper copy with a FREEPOST envelope, or give you a call back and complete the survey over the phone with you.

We would love to hear from you. Thank you.

Tameside Hospital clinic appointments by video

One of the choices now available for some clinic appointments is to talk to the consultant by video link on your computer or smartphone.
