Healthwatch Tameside COVID-19 survey
Have you completed our COVID-19 survey yet? Question 3 asks "Has your mental health and wellbeing been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic?" So far, 45% of respondents answered 'Yes' and 55% answered 'No'. We know that discussions are starting about what the future 'normal' might look like. Tell us your views. Mental health bereavement support As a reminder of some of the mental health support services following bereavement available in Tameside, please see the new leaflet. This includes information about Minds Matter Call In, Tameside & Glossop Bereavement Matters, Greater Manchester Bereavement Service, among others. Finding Rainbows (following loss of a baby or child), and the Anthony Seddon Fund (mental health) can also provide support. Through this website, you can register to gain secure access to your diabetes-related health records and receive tailored advice and information created by NHS experts in diabetes. You can also access lots of information about diabetes, from videos, leaflets and eLearning courses, to help you understand more about your diabetes and increase your confidence in how to manage it. Diabetes UK - The North of England team have opened a public Facebook group to reach and support more people living with diabetes in the region. The group is a great opportunity to chat to others living with diabetes, share positivity, receive updates from healthcare professionals and from Diabetes UK. Anyone with an interest in diabetes – from people living with the condition to health care professionals – is welcome to join. Please note, the group is not used for any medical questions and Diabetes UK asks people to refer to their relevant healthcare professionals for medical advice. Tameside and Glossop Early Attachment Service - T&G Early Attachment Service are offering a new weekly ‘drop in’ telephone consultation service for parents and professionals. For parents (from pregnancy up to a child’s fifth birthday) and professionals (health visitors, midwives, social workers, teachers, nursery workers etc. COVID-19 support line for BAME communities - this service is provided by http://www.nestac.org.uk/ . Hold still - a portrait of our nation - an ambitious community project to create a unique photographic portrait which captures the spirit, mood, hopes, fears and feelings of the nation as we continue to deal with the Coronavirus outbreak.
