New Healthwatch Tameside survey

Did you complete our new COVID-19 survey during the last couple of weeks? If not, here it is again www.healthwatchtameside.co.uk/covid-19-survey

Please pass on the link to your friends and family. The more voices we hear, the stronger our message to commissioners and providers of services can be. Help us to help you.

Please get in touch on 0161 667 2526 or email info@healthwatchtameside.co.uk with contact details, (if you know someone who doesn't have access to the internet), and we will post a paper copy out, with a FREEPOST envelope.

Thank you.

Other useful information

Carers Centre Tameside - The Carers Centre has been asked to share a survey being co-ordinated by the Wraparound Partnership on ethnic minority experiences of caring. The survey is being run throughout Greater Manchester. Carers from ethnic minorities may have different needs, issues and requirements from other populations, they are often overlooked in research and often do not access statutory services until they hit crisis point. The outcomes of the conversation will shape the future direction of the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Carers Programme. The link for the survey is https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/5yxz2sh

Greater Manchester Bereavement Service - this is a new website bringing together all the bereavement services available to support people across Greater Manchester. The page which includes our local services is https://greater-manchester-bereavement-service.org.uk/map/

Care Quality Commission - the CQC have paused the inspection timetable during the COVID-19 lockdown. However, they are still urging the public to feed back anything they hear. They will then use this information as part of their work. More information can be found on their website at www.cqc.org.uk/about-us/our-purpose-role/coronavirus-covid-19-pandemic-information-public

Reports are still being produced following CQC inspections carried out prior to the lockdown, and the latest is:

     Stepping Hill Hospital - www.cqc.org.uk/location/RWJ09

Action Togethersupport and information to voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations can be found on their website www.actiontogether.org.uk/covid-19  This link also includes information about volunteering - Action Together are co-ordinating the volunteer response in Tameside.
