It's your NHS. Have your say.

Have your say on the future of the NHS in Tameside.

Surveys

The NHS 10 year Long Term Plan was published in January.

Healthwatch have been asked to find out what people think about ways to improve local NHS services. Your views matter. You can share your ideas with us by completing a survey at https://www.healthwatchtameside.co.uk/    Paper copies of the surveys can be provided.

There is a video to watch, with more information, on our website too.

There are six long-term condition specific surveys, for people who have experience of using these services. These can also be found on our website https://www.healthwatchtameside.co.uk/        Please complete one (or more) of these if they are relevant. Again, paper copies of the surveys can be provided.

Focus groups

We are holding small focus groups (for people with experience of using heart and/or lung services) to talk about what you would like to see considered in the local plans. These will be held during April 2019. If you would like to join us, please get in touch for more details.

Suicide awareness training

Got 30 minutes? Learn life saving skills!

The Zero Suicide Alliance have brought out free online training, available to anyone, which can be found at https://www.zerosuicidealliance.com/

It is aimed at teaching how to approach a conversation if you see someone who is distressed or showing signs they are struggling with their mental health and might think about harming themselves.
