Focus group and survey - prescribed medicines in hospital
The 10 Healthwatch organisations in Greater Manchester are seeking views from patients on what is important to them about medicines on discharge from hospital and if they would welcome additional support to help them to take their medicines. We are working with the Local Professional Network (LNP) to find out what patients think about the introduction of an electronic referral system between pharmacy teams - such as hospital, community, general practice and mental health - across Greater Manchester and if patients support the principle of sharing information this way. LPNs work with patients and the public to improve local dental, community pharmacy and optometry services. Share your thoughts and experiences with us by joining our Focus Group discussion and taking part in our online survey! The Focus Group in Tameside will take place on Tuesday 6 March from 12.30 to 2.30pm, at the Volunteer Centre, 95-97 Penny Meadow, Ashton-under-Lyne, OL6 6EP. If you’re interested in taking part please call us on 0161 667 2526, or email info@healthwatchtameside.co.uk . The number of places is limited, so please book a place. A light lunch will be provided. Take part in our survey by visiting www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/prescribedmedication
