Tameside Council is in the process of preparing a planning application based on a case for Very Special Circumstances for Godley Green to unlock up to 2350 new homes over the next 20 years.
The ambitious but achievable plan is to create a new sustainable garden settlement of beauty and great design that sensitively evolves around our existing communities and landscape.
Involving existing communities, stakeholders and young people in the development of Godley Green is extremely important to us. To achieve this vision we now need your opinions, thoughts and ideas, which will be critical in helping to shape the next stages of the Godley Green development.
