Get on Board

Registration is closed for this event
Use your experience and gain new skills simply by volunteering as a Trustee within a local voluntary, community, faith or social enterprise organisation. You have the power to strengthen others and make a lasting impact.

Trustees are the driving force behind many local charities across Oldham and Tameside, using their professional skills and qualities to lead great work that is changing lives, improving neighbourhoods and contributing positively to the places we all live and work.

Becoming a Trustee for a local organisation enables you to gain valuable experience and learn new skills within a leadership role. Trusteeship is open to all ages, backgrounds and skills sets and requires on average 30 hours commitment per year. Challenge yourself, by applying your skills in a different environment.

If you have the passion and enthusiasm to support a local good cause, come along to our Get on Board event and learn more about what’s involved. You will meet chief executives from local charities, network with other Trustees, and get support from the Action Together team.

If you have any questions or you're a local organisation that needs trustees, please contact Sian Goodwin on Tel 0161 339 2345 or Email: sian.goodwin@actiontogether.org.uk.
