Women's Health Action Group - Menopause Matters Event

This new group is for all those interested in supporting, through action, the priorities of the Women’s Health Strategy published in 2021.

After the success of the first meeting we would like to invite you back to work together to achieve better outcomes for women’s health in Rochdale.

This session will be facilitated by Healthwatch Rochdale -  Please join us to discuss all things menopause. We will be looking at Healthwatch Rochdale’s 2 menopause reports, looking at feedback gathered in around this topic focusing on service user voice and mapping what services are available locally for peri-menopause, menopause and post menopause.

During the session we will also be co-producing a local information leaflet to showcase the local menopause offer.

Attendees are expected to work collaboratively and have the capacity to support with actions, our priorities include 

  • Menstrual health and gynaecological conditions
  • Fertility, pregnancy, pregnancy loss and postnatal support
  • Menopause
  • Mental health and wellbeing
