Action Together are offering Part 1 of the Introduction to Trustee Roles and Responsibilities training session to those who are thinking of becoming a Trustee, or are a Trustee who would like to understand more about what their role entails and how to carry it out to the best of their ability.

 

Aims of session:

To understand what the role of a trustee entails 

Learning Outcomes: 

In this session you will: 

  • Develop your understanding of the roles and responsibilities of being a charity trustee 
  • Learn to identify the qualities, skills and knowledge needed to be an effective trustee 
  • Learn about helpful and unhelpful behaviours of committee members 
  • Learn how to get the best out of your committee meetings 

Suitable for: 

  • Volunteers interested in becoming a trustee 
  • People responsible for recruiting and supporting trustees 
  • Existing trustees who would like a refresher

Attendance information:

The training course is for VCFSE groups who are based in/operate in Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside.

You will need to register to attend the training session and there are a limited number of places available. The sessions will be delivered online via the Zoom platform and login details will be sent one day before the session to registered participants.
