#WednesdaysWeekly - Co-op - Community Wellbeing Index – Using data to do good - Rochdale, Oldham, Tameside
The Community Wellbeing Index (CWI) is an online insight tool that provides wellbeing related information for over 28,000 communities across the UK. There are more than 50 different indicators within the Index, covering a wide range of themes - from the quality of education and transport links within an area, to the amount of green space and the number of community centres that are present - providing a useful snapshot into the strengths of different communities and also the challenges that they are facing.
This session will cover the following -
- Why the Co-op created the CWI
- How it was developed, with an in depth look at methodology
- What the data is used for within the Co-op
- How external organisations have been using the data
- Future plans
There will also be a demo, and a chance to ask questions at the end of the session.
You may want to have a look at the Index before the session, so that you are familiar with how it works. Type in your own postcode and see how it scores across our different domains-
