An online session for providers

The Department for Education (DfE) made funds available to every local authority in England to coordinate free holiday club/activity provision, including healthy food and enriching activities, for children on benefits-related free school meals for the Easter, summer and Christmas holidays in 2021.

Oldham Council has received £1.5m from the DfE to deliver the Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF) this year.

Their ambition is to ensure eligible children and young people across Oldham have access to a diverse range of exciting holiday clubs and activities, offering a blend of borough-wide and more locally-based activities.

Oldham Council are inviting expressions of interest from providers to work with them to put on fun, healthy and engaging holiday activities during the Christmas break. You can apply here

The Deadline for submissions is 29 October 2021

We have arranged a provider briefing session on Thursday 14 October 4pm to 5pm via Zoom. Please e mail any questions or queries before the event to OldhamHAF@oldham.gov.uk to ensure that they can make the session as supportive and helpful as possible.
