#WednesdaysWeekly - Migrant destitution in Greater Manchester during COVID

Registration is closed for this event
What is it like to go through this pandemic without the ability to work, claim benefits or have friends and family around you? That is the situation many migrants with ‘no recourse to public funds’ find themselves in, and why the Migrant Destitution Fund GM has provided over 350 monthly £80 grants since opening in April.

In this session, you can find out how the pandemic is affecting asylum seekers, refugees and other migrants with no recourse to public funds, what impact it has on their lives, what support is available to them and how you can help. Speakers will include members of the Migrant Destitution Fund Action Group, people with personal insight, and referring partners.
