Volunteer Coordinator Breakfast Forum

Registration is closed for this event
This is your morning wake up call for our Volunteer Coordinators Breakfast Forum. Our forum is open to Volunteer Coordinators across Oldham and Tameside to offer greater networking, learning, support and partnership opportunities. Our Forum provides a regular space for Volunteer Coordinators in Oldham and Tameside, to network, learn and access relevant training and support.

Agenda

What makes a quality volunteer experience?

At the last forum you told us your aspirations for volunteering across Oldham and Tameside. We want to build on these emerging themes and invite you, along with one of your volunteers, to join a conversation about how people choose to spend their time and what makes a quality volunteer experience.

Time Well Spent is a report published earlier this year, based on a national survey conducted by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO). Over 10,000 people were interviewed across the UK and it explores how people participate in formal volunteering and how this may change over a lifetime.

The report highlights some key features which we want to share with you and build into a wider conversation around the volunteer experience and how people give their time across Oldham and Tameside.

Please remember to book a place for yourself and a volunteer.

The session will run from 09:30 until 11:30 with opportunities to network and meet other Volunteer Coordinators. A light breakfast is provided, and booking is essential.

Please feel free to invite any colleagues who work with volunteers to attend.

For more information, contact Sian or Sharon on 0161 339 2345 or volunteering@actiontogether.org.uk

Places are limited to please book early to avoid disappointment!
