Information Governance and Data Protection Training

All organisations are required to comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) from May 2018.

This training course has been co-written by GM Connect (GMCA) and 10GM to help organisations of all sizes to understand what Information Governance means and how the legislation could affect them. It will also help organisations to reflect on how they currently work and put in place any necessary process they may needs to protect information and to develop better practice.

Aim of the course – To support organisations to gain an understanding of their responsibilities regarding data protection and information governance

•             An opportunity to reflect on your current working practise and to identify areas for development

•             To have the information and tools to begin putting into place any necessary process to protect information within their organisation

Band B: Places cost £20 per person to voluntary, community and faith organisations with an annual income over £25,000 £20.00
