Oldham Council working with Action Together would like to invest in up to up to 10 organisations who would like to work closely with Family Hubs over the ne xt 3 years.Best Start in Life funding has given th e Parenting Support Team at Oldham Council the opp ortunity to scale up the delivery of face-to-face parenting group programmes over the next 3 years.< /p>\n \n
Alongside the core parenting team Oldh am Council would like to extend the delivery and r each of the programmes to include VCSFE organisati ons facilitating the Centre for Emotional Health P arent Puzzle Programme for parents/carers of child ren under 5 years.
\n \nIn supporting VCSFE organisations to deliver\, far more communities a nd seldom heard from groups would be reached. It w ould also ensure that a consistent evidence-based model is used where facilitators are giving the sa me messages to parent/carers around supporting the ir children to achieve the best outcomes including a good level of development at the age of 5.
\ n \nAn investment of up to £10\,000 is availab le for the first year of the programme to cover tr aining and delivery.
\n \nThis session is s uitable for VCFSE groups locally rooted or activel y working in the borough of Oldham and who already support families with children under 5 in their c ommunities.
