    The Al-amin Jame Mosque was established in 1986 to serve the needs of primarily the Bangladeshi Muslims of Rochdale (although it is open to all Muslims). It started as "Al-amin Islamic Religious Teaching Centre" and was the 2nd Mosque in the wardleworth area in the borough of Rochdale. The Mosque was later renamed "Al-amin Jame Mosque" after being granted permission to use it as a masjid and is a member of the Rochdale council of Mosques.
