    Boxing is Neet. This is people who are not in employment, education or training. We provide classes in Maths, English and boxing coaching. We provide volunteer opportunities at the club. At the core Of OBPC mission is to deliver holistic personal development to the whole community, a task made easier due to the location of the centre. In partnership with other agencies, OBPDC will successfully deliver community based training, education and leisure activities which will see learners progress into further education and employment. This service is for young people between 16 and 25 years old.

    Oldham Boxing and personal development centre has capitalised on the popularity of the sport to attract the people of Oldham and in turn make a positive impact on their lives by both delivering structured sessions in amateur boxing and offering a parallel personal development programme in the training room which adjoins the gym. We target both parents and young people particularly in areas of high unemployment and high deprivation, all of which exhibit many of the access to learning issues associated with socio economic conditions.
    Oldham Boxing and Personal Development Centre was set up in 2008 as a not for profit limited company. The organisation was set up as result of the ground breaking ACCE project set up to target substance misuse. OBPC has expanded rapidly since working with young people facing a number of issues.
