• Bouncing Babies

We are a group for parents/carers and their babies! We meet every Thursday, term time only, from 10am-11.30am at the New Life Centre. At 11am we have a singing session for everyone to join in with. At various points throughout the year we have craft activities held during the session which are at no extra cost. The group has a suggested donation of £1 and babies are welcome from birth right up to the point where they are walking confidently. Throughout the year we have different visitors to come and speak to us about differing topics. We also have fundraiser mornings and offer access to breastfeeding support to those who would like it. About the host organisation

Hosted by: New Life Church, Ashton
    Organisation Profile:

We are a Christian Church seeking to demonstrate the Love of God in Tameside. We meet on Sundays at 10.30 in the Sports Hall at Ashton Sixth Form College. The rest of our programme is run from New Life Centre, St James St, various other times in the week.

The church seeks to meet the needs of local people including social needs, social skills, combatting loneliness and isolation and building healthy relationships.
Our outreach programme particularly focuses on supporting two groups of people in the community:

    1) Families, as it has upheld that supporting people with good parenting and becoming stronger families, creating a safe and balanced place for children to grow and develop, holds them together and creates a stronger society.

    2) Adults who experience challenges such as homelessness, addictions, mental health issues and poverty. Essentially the church believes that each person has intrinsic worth and value and believe in supporting people to overcome barriers and achieve their potential and empowering them to play their part in society.
