OAK Community Development (OAK CD) is a not for profit organisation that aims to improve the education, social and health conditions of the BME community. Our mission is to empower individuals, families and disadvantaged communities with the skills, confidence, networks and resources they need to tackle problems, grasp opportunities and achieve; thereby creating a better, prosperous and inclusive society. We specialise in providing a range of mentoring and personal development solutions to promote achievement and build social capital for people of BME heritage and those living in disadvantaged communities. We work in partnership with local group, community and faith centres, schools, colleges and a range of public service providers to improve outcomes.
